Shahbaz Taseer Wednesday urged the people to not give up praying for his friend Ali Haider Gilani, the son of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, who continues to remain abducted since May, 2013.
Shahbaz Taseer, the son of slain Punjab governor Salman Taseer, was himself released from the militant’s captivity last week.
Shahbaz Taseer took to the micro blogging website Twitter and said: “Your prayers brought me back but don’t stop praying for my friend Haider Gilani. He needs as many prayers as I did. Let’s bring him back.”
In another tweet Taseer said: “Every Friday my family and thousands all over the world prayed for me. Your Prayers brought me back.”
