Two death row convicts and another prisoner on Tuesday attempted suicide at the lock-up of District Jail Attock.
According to jail sources, the inmates Muhammad Bilal, Muhammad Haneef and Tariq Mahmood severely injured themselves by cutting their hands with blade.
Jail authorities immediately shifted the injured inmates to the hospital for medical assistance where the doctors stated that they are out of danger however, the treatment is underway.
The security personnel have assured that an investigation into the matter has been launched.
Two of them were sentenced to death for their involvement in terrorism, robbery, murder and attack on policemen.
