Unknown thieves struck at a cell phone outlet and made off with cash, mobile phones and calling cards worth millions, within the Sadiqabad police jurisdiction.

Asif Saeed, owner of the cell phone shop, lodged a complaint with the local police that thieves broke into his shop and made off with cash worth Rs 51,000, 80 cell phones, calling cards worth Rs50, 000 and other valuables worth over Rs0.3 million.

Meanwhile, Shakil Akhtar, a manager of an outlet in Civil Lines area, lodged a complaint with the local police that three armed men wearing masks, turned up at his shop, held the staff and clients hostage at gunpoint and made off with cash and valuables.

The police have registered separate cases and started investigation.
