Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) can launch inquiries into major projects in Punjab.

While talking to media here on Monday, he said that all major projects in the province were open to scrutiny and the provincial government has no objection if NAB carried out investigation.

Sanaullah said Women Protection Act aims at protecting the oppressed women. We cannot abolish the act but we have decided to make some amendments to it.  We cannot allow men to torture women and attack them with acid. Whoever violates law will have to pay the price, he said.

While commenting on the recent statement of PML leader Parvez Elahi, Sanaullah said Elahi was daydreaming and his dreams would not come true.

He said PTI complains about rigging whenever it loses an election, and celebrates when it gets a victory.
