The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday directed the Police Department to register a first information report (FIR) against unknown Rangers personnel in a case related to a missing worker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
The petitioner, Nighat Waseem, submitted that her husband, Waseem, was picked up by Rangers personnel on September 1 last year and had been missing since. She also maintained that no arrest was shown.
A two-judge bench of the court, while ordering the registration of a case against unknown Rangers personnel, adjourned the hearing of the case till April 4.
Apart from the paramilitary Rangers, the court also sought a formal reply from the Sindh government. Waseem belonged to MQM’s PIB Colony sector.
The same court put the Rangers on a notice in a petition seeking whereabouts of another MQM worker, Kashif alias David.
In her plea, Kashif’s wife Raheela had submitted that her husband was arrested in Dubai and brought to Pakistan in 2005. She had maintained that the Rangers spokesman had on February 8, 2016 disclosed Kashif’s arrest before the media but her husband was neither produced before the court, nor allowed to meet his family.
The bench directed the Rangers to submit their reply on the next hearing and adjourned the case until April 18.

Hi there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
fantastic points altogether, you simply gained a brand new reader. What would you suggest about your post that you made a few days ago? Any positive?
