A 16-member delegation of journalists from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) called on Punjab Chief Secretary Khizar Hayat Gondal at civil secretariat here on Monday.
Talking to the delegation, the chief secretary said that role of media is of significant importance in developing public opinion. He remarked that government can improve governance by seeking guidance from media.
Gondal said that exchange of journalists’ delegations would help highlight initiatives and positive steps taken by the government for the welfare of people.
