Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne says he will be a hands-on father to his and wife Hanna Bagshawe’s first child.
The 34-year-old “Danish Girl” actor is excited about the arrival of his baby, though he said he is also feeling a bit scared of the big change and responsibility, reported Female First.
“It is our first child, so obviously there’s a mixture of emotions; Joy, excitement and a bit of fear. I can’t wait. I’ll be a hands-on dad.”
The “Theory of Everything” star, who married Bagshawe in 2014, said becoming a father will cap off an “amazing” period in his life.
“Having a baby is the perfect ending to what’s been an amazing year. I still pinch myself – every actor thinks about living the Hollywood dream and making it over here is incredible. I’ll always stay grounded and I don’t take anything for granted.”
