Pakistan has decided to allow its cricket team to play World T20 in India after Indian government issued a “public guarantee” of security to Pakistan cricket team.

The decision came came after chief minister of the Indian state of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee assured in writing ‘foolproof security’ to Pakistan’s men and women cricket teams during their stay in India for the ICC World T20.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Sheharyar Khan has approached Pakistani Interior Ministry, informing the officials about Indian assurance of security for Pakistani team.

Pakistani Interior Ministry is also expected to issue a formal statement in this regard. After which the Pakistani cricket team will leave for India tonight with Z+ security provided by the government
