A crackdown against criminals continued in the mega city as four suspects including an injured proclaimed offender were arrested on late Wednesday night.
According to police sources, a targeted action was conducted by law enforcement agencies in Sharafi Goth area. A drug dealer, Rustam, was arrested along with his accomplice. Arms, ammunition and drugs were recovered from possession of the arrested suspects. Police said the arrested suspects might have links with Lyari gang war. Meanwhile, a wanted felon was arrested in injured condition from Maripur after clash with the police. According to the police, weapons and stolen items were recovered from the suspect. On the other hand, police apprehended an operative of Lyari gang war from Orangi Town Pakistan Bazaar area.
