The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has been moved against National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officers for allegedly taking bribe from a Patwari.
The petitioner Muhammad Ashraf filed petition Wednesday in the court alleging that NAB officials took heavy bribe and plot from him despite the fact that he was cleared by NAB in an inquiry held against him in 2009, on the issue of assets. NAB has once again started inquiry against me and I am being blackmailed, he said.
He appealed the court to restrain NAB from holding inquiry against him in the same case adding that the court should order action against the officers involved in taking bribe from him.
Chairman NAB, director general and other officers of NAB have been made respondents in the petition.
