Senior Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan on Monday said that action could be taken against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for issuing statements against the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Aitzaz Ahsan said that the anti-NAB statements that were made by the prime minister and Punjab CM have made it clear that something is mysterious.
“Action can be taken against the two for making statements against the accountability bureau”, Ahsan added.
He also said that the mega projects initiated by the government failed and left a burden on the national exchequer. He added that the contracts of the developmental projects were given to their own people while ignoring the laws.
