Pak Turk ties strengthening day by day, says minister

Minister of State for Education and Interior Engineer Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman has said that the Pak-Turk bilateral relations are strengthening day by day.

Addressing prize distribution ceremony of Inter School Math Olympiad (ISMO) as Chief Guest at Sadiq Public School here Saturday, he said that Turk government has been providing assistance for various development projects that have played an important role in the progress of the country.

He said that Turk government also provided support in Bahawalpur Economic Development Forum Vision 2040.

The Minister of State said that Pak-Turk Education Foundation is providing quality education to students of Pakistan which would help shape their future.

He said that programmes like ISMO, help in intellectual growth of students. He said that people of both countries have mutual love and respect for each other.

Addressing the ceremony, Principal Sadiq Public School Bahawalpur Prof Nauman Ahmad Qureshi said that the students of the school have won 15 prizes out of 20.

He thanked Pak-Turk Education Foundation for conducting such events which help groom the students.

The chief guest later gave away certificates and cash prizes to the winning students.

Director General Planning and Development Pak-Turk International Schools and Colleges Turgut Puyan and ISMO Organizing Committee Chairman and Deputy Director Education Mustafa Yilmaz presented shields to Minister of State Engineer Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman and Principal Sadiq Public School Prof Nauman Ahmad Qureshi.

MNA Parveen Masood Bhatti, MPA Fouzia Ayub Qureshi, teachers, students, parents and notables of the city were present on the occasion.
