Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more rainfall in Punjab, parts of KP, FATA and Azad Kashmir during next 24 hours.
A westerly wave is affecting upper parts of country and likely to move northeastward in next 24 hours. Another westerly wave is likely to approach south-western Balochistan on Monday, PDM said.
Rain-thunderstorm accompanied by gusty winds is expected at scattered places in upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions), Islamabad and Kashmir while at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar divisions and upper FATA.
Hailstorm is likely at isolated places in Potohar plateau, Gujranwala division and Kashmir during the period.
Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Makran, Kallat divisions , Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.
