The Koral Police on Saturday arrested a man for allegedly killing his son over a minor dispute.
According to police, Jan Muhammad, a resident of district Hangu, was living in a rented house with his sons in Ali Pur area of Islamabad. On February 29, he had a quarrel with one of his sons Liaqat Ali on a minor issue in which Liaqat Ali was injured. He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Following directions of SP (Rural) Mustafa Tanveer, a Koral police team headed by SHO Inspector Abdul Majeed and Sub Inspector Abdul Waheed took action and arrested Jan Muhammad.
Police have obtained three-day physical remand of the accused and further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, Koral police nabbed a drug pusher Naeem Khan, resident of Kurram Agency, and recovered 1672 gram hashish from him.
