Five found dead from city

As many as five dead bodies, including a woman, were recovered on Saturday from different areas of the metropolis.

According to details, Korangi police found a body packed in a gunny bag near Saturday Market at Korangi No 2 ½.

According to police sources, the body of one Musheer Ahmed, 60, son of Hafeez Ahmed, was found packed in a gunny bag from his house. Unknown criminals had had stabbed him to death. The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an autopsy. One Muhammad Zahid, 28, son of Muhammad Shahid, was found dead near Nusrat Bhutto Colony, in North Karachi. The body was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for autopsy. According to sources, the diseased was a drugs addict and he died due to overdose.

Separately, a man identified as Agha Maqsood Ali, 60, was found dead near Khalid Bin Waleed Road from his house. The body was carried to the JPMC for autopsy. According to sources, unknown criminals killed him two days before in his house and fled away.

A torture-marked body of a woman was found packed in a gunny bag near Khattak Chowk, Metroville, in SITE area. The body was shifted to the ASH for an autopsy.

According to sources, unidentified criminals killed her and packed her body in a gunny bag and escaped from the scene.

One Yousuf, 50, resident of Surjani Town, died of heart attack near Saddar Police Chowk. His body was shifted to Chhipa cold storage.
