The Sindh culture department in joint collaboration with divisional administration and livestock department will organise a 2-day Horse and Cattle Show from March 26 in Hyderabad.
The Horse and Cattle Show is being organised on the directives of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and the venue of organising the show will be decided in next week, informed Hyderabad Commissioner Qazi Shahid Pervez. While jointly presiding over a meeting along with Sindh Secretary Culture Dr Niaz Ali Abbasi at Shahbaz Hall Friday, the commissioner said that the show would provide an opportunity to horse and cattle owners to bring their best animals for recognition.
The folk dance of horses and camels, regional sports, artisan exhibition folk musical concert as well as police and rangers bands will be the parts of the show, he informed. He said that distance of five kilometres had been decided for horse and camels races in the show which will be organised from 9 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 7 pm on both days of the show.
