During the course of proceedings, Sheikh Afzal appeared before the bench and stated that he was ready to pay amount if it is remaining.

The NAB prosecutor told the court that the accused had to returned luxury cars of Bank of Punjab and a bunglow in Dubai.

On this Asma Jehangir Counsel for Sheikh Haris stated that the Banglow was on the name of Sheikh Haris Afzal and she alleged that the NAB officials in collaboration with BoP sold the bunglow in Dubai on a fake power of attorney in 2012.

Justice Azmat Saeed remarked that the bunglow was sold in 2012 but the NAB approached the court in 2016 which clearly shows the negligence of NAB officials.

Justice Umar Ata Bandial asked that why the NAB officials did not visit Dubai to bring back the national exchequer.
