Congratulations to Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy for winning Oscar for the second time. But it is very sad that none of Pakistani channels have shown her documentaries here in Pakistan. Saving Face won Oscar in 2012 but still no Pakistani channels has shown it.
Haters of Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy are now saying that she only makes documentaries on those topics which defame Pakistan. People are demanding that she should make a documentary on drone attacks, their victims and survivors.
It is for sure that Sharmeen Obaid is very talented and she can easily make a documentary on drone attacks, and maybe she will.
