Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the beauty of Islamabad will be restored and best possible facilities will be provided to its residents.
He was talking to Islamabad Mayor Sheikh Ansar Aziz on Tuesday. The prime minister congratulated Ansar Aziz on becoming the first ever mayor of the federal capital.
Nawaz said the federal government will support the local government to undertake developmental projects in the capital. Aziz vowed to implement Nawaz’s vision of transforming the capital into a truly developed city.
FATA UPLIFT:
In a separate meeting, Prime Minister Nawaz told governor-designate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Iqbal Zafar Jhagra that the federal government would take all measures to bring FATA at par with the rest of the country.
The prime minister said the entire nation in general and the people of tribal areas in particular deserve due recognition for their support in the war on terror.
