Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah on Sunday criticised corrupt politicians and called for concerted efforts against unscrupulous elements.
According to media reports, Shah, while addressing a gathering in Pano Akil after laying foundation stone of a bridge, criticised the privatisation and economic policies of the incumbent government.
He was of the view that people attended political rallies in large numbers because a “storm of unemployment is battering the country”. He said that state organisations were stuck in the face of raids conducted by the FIA, NAB and anti-corruption departments. Shah also stressed the need for construction of more dams to resolve the energy crisis gripping the country.
