Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Monday extended the tenure of Director General Intelligence Bureau Aftab Sultan by two years.
Aftab Sultan has also remained DG IB in 2011 and was reappointed on the position in June 2013.
His term was extended for one year in 2015 which was going to end on April 2, 2016. Nawaz once again granted a two-year extension in his term.
Aftab Sultan has also been appointed as Inspector General (IG) Punjab police.
