Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) has started operations against encroachment in the city.
Talking to APP the Administrator Rawal Town, Imran Qurashi said the operation would continue against encroachments till the elimination of encroachments in the area.
He asked shopkeepers to remove all encroachments themselves else their goods will be confiscated and auctioned. He directed the officials to take strict action against those creating hurdles in the smooth flow of traffic and that no one would be allowed to violate the law.
While the encroachers have set up their kiosks on footpaths which is creating hurdles and miseries in smooth flow of traffic.
The encroachers could be seen in the Chungi no 22, Bara Market, Namak Mandi, Narnkari Bazaar, Fawara Chowk, Trunk Bazaar,Jamia Masjid Road, Sadiqabad,Muslim Town, Commercial Market,Saidpur Road, Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Asghar Mall Road, Ganjmandi Road, Dhoke Mangtal Road and Bagh Sardaran in the city.
