Roadside vendors

Roadside vendors are found everywhere in our country, but they are very common in Peshawar, selling their food stuff near mosques, hospitals and in streets. But it is possible that the food they may be selling is harmful for health due to some reasons.

They don’t pay proper attention on keeping their food items clean. There are flies all over the food, and dust from roadside contaminates food items which is mostly uncovered. They wash the plates again and again in the same bucket of dirty water. They are also often seen selling outdated or expired food stuff. They also create problems for peddlers and vehicles, but there is no one to ask them anything or make them follow the law.

I request the relevant authorities in KP to take action against these roadside vendors.
