Army Remounts and Dollar East/Master Paints will clash today in the Borjan Punjab Polo Cup 2016 main final at Lahore Polo Club ground at 3:30 pm, while Master Paints/Habib Metro and Barry’s will come face to face for the third position at the same ground at around 2:00 pm.
Army Remounts team consists of Major General Isfandiyar Pataudi, Major Haseeb Minhas, Major Omer Minhas and George Meyrick. The Dollar East/Master Paints team has the services of players like Sufi Farooq, Hamza Mawaz Khan, Bilal Haye and Juan Cruz Losada.
Both the final and the subsidiary final are expected to pull a huge crowd to the venue.
Dollar East/Master Paints player Hamza Mawaz said that his team was well balanced and had a bright chance to win the coveted trophy. “Our team combination and horses have improved a lot and that is why we fought well throughout the tournament and succeeded in entering the final of this prestigious event. I hope we will play well and try our best to clinch the final title,” he added.
Total seven teams have been participating in the event.
