A truck driver was tortured to death by a policeman after exchange of hot words between the two over minor dispute on Sunday.
According to details, the incident took place near PT-Gate No 15 of Keamari Town in the metropolis when a policeman Shahzad and his associate brutally tortured a truck driver Riaz Hussain for arguing with them leaving him critically injured. The injured truck driver was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. The deceased hailed from district Khushab of Punjab and was father of a daughter. Police said they were investigating the case and tracking the whereabouts of absconding cop.
