New Delhi – Our Intolerant Correspondent: Mohan Bhagwat, Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, said on Saturday that he and his organisation will personally kill anyone who disgraces the homeland by saying it was becoming intolerant.

“We will not stand anyone who is enjoying the blessings and bounty that our motherland is providing and say that, of late, the sphere of acceptable things to say and do in the country is gradually becoming smaller,” he said at a press conference.

“Lately, actors, I will not take their names, belonging to a certain religion, I will not take its name, have said that their wives, in a casual conversation, once mused out loud whether it would be better to leave for another country,” he said. “That is outrageous! Name me a single country that allows for such behaviour.”

“I will burn to the ground the house of anyone who says that freedom of speech is increasingly becoming an endangered animal,” he said. “I swear, don’t push me on this one.”

“If somehow they manage to escape us, they should run off to Pakistan, where they belong, a country that does nothing but waste oxygen and send terrorists across the border to India,” he said.

Speaking in response to Bhagwat’s fiery speech, chief of the Lahore-based Andalusia Squad, Maulana Umar Langrial, said that his organisation will set out to kill anyone in India who says that Pakistan-based militants cross the border into India to kill people.
