NAB chairman vows ruthless accountability of the corrupt

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Chaudhry Qamar Zaman on Friday said that the anti-graft body, by acting on its zero-tolerance policy against corruption, is committed to carrying out accountability across the board.

Addressing the participants of the graduation ceremony of Investigators Basic Induction Course at Sihala Police Training College organised by the NAB, he urged all segments of the society to stand against corruption.

Chaudhry said that 104 officers had been selected out of 4,200 applicants for the job.

He said that selection had been made on merit and in a transparent manner.

The NAB chairman also appreciated efforts and skills of training officers for equipping the newly inducted officers with modern interrogation techniques.

He said that as an apex anti corruption organization of the country, NAB is responsible for the gigantic task of eradication of corruption from the country.

The NAB chairman vowed to continue anti-corruption campaign across the board.

He said that NAB is hopeful that joint efforts of all the stakeholders can mitigate corruption and corrupt practices from the country.
