PM Nawaz grants cancer patient’s wish

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday met a cancer patient Anwarullah Afridi in Karachi to fulfill his most cherished desire.

In a warm meeting with Anwarullah, the prime minister inquired about his health and spent some cheerful moments filled with motivation and appreciation. Taking a personal interest, the prime minister asked Anwarullah about his family, study and hobbies.

Anwarullah expressed his excitement by saying that his wish came true after meeting the prime minister. Anwarullah conveyed the exuberance of meeting to prime minister as well. The prime minister furthered his prayers for good health and immediate recovery and also encouraged Anwarullah Afridi by calling him a source of inspiration and courage. He advised him to defeat the disease by standing brave as God helps those who help themselves. The prime minister directed the authorities for immediate compliance of Anwarullah’s request.

Anwarullah shared his experience of foreign visit with the prime minister, particularly his meeting with Malala.

Speaking at the occasion, the prime minister said that granting wishes to such children brings a substantial change in their lives. He further added that “make a wish” work compels them to accomplish the expectations of every wish of children and persuades them to ensure that their attention had a far-reaching impact. The PM also said that materialisation of wishes of the kids who are fighting against diseases can give them strength as well as a new hope.
