A man was shot dead within Race Course police jurisdiction.
Javed Akhter lodged a complaint with the local police stating that his brother Mushtaq Akhter was going to the Kachery area when two unknown armed motorcyclists opened fire on him and killed him on the spot. The assailants fled the scene. The body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
