The Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) annual Election 2016 will be held on February 27 in Jinnah Hall IHC G-10/1 Islamabad.
Shahid Kamal Khan Advocate and Tariq Jahangiri Advocate would race in the election for the seat of president of the bar whereas for the seat of vice-president Naheed Iqbal Awan Advocate and Tahir
Salim Advocate will contest for the seat of general secretary of the bar. The competition would be between Waqas Malik Advocate and Aamir Abdullah and whereas five executive members, finance & library secretary were already selected un-apposed. 1,350 voters including 150 lady lawyers will utilize their voting right.
It is pertinent to mention here that Advocate Supreme Court, Zulifqar Ali Abbasi would perform his duty as chairman election board on the election day and the polling time will be from 8 am to 4 pm, including one hour lunch break.
