At least 40 suspects, including 11 Afghan nationals, were arrested during a police search operation here on Thursday.
According to police sources, the search operation was conducted in Hayatabad and Nasir Bagh areas. 17 of the suspects were arrested for violating the House Rent Act. Two arrested suspects were involved in smuggling of wood.
Besides drugs, two pistols, ammunition and 24 unregistered motorbikes were recovered from the some suspects.
