The Islamabad district administration Thursday raided an illegal slaughter house and arrested 10 suspects after recovering 2,000 kg meat of dead animals.
The slaughter house situated near Motorway Toll Plaza was raided by a police team under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Shalimar Hassan Waqar Cheema.
According to reports, the dead animals were brought from Jhang at the slaughter house and then their meat was supplied to various shops in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
