Tanker owners and transporters blocked the land route between Sindh and Balochistan by erecting hurdles at the Hub River Bridge while protesting against Customs and Mochka Police Tuesday.

According to details All Pakistan Tankers owners Association and Transporters organisations blocked the Hub River Bridge linking Sindh with Balochistan by parking their vehicles on the road. Passengers and commuters had to face a lot of difficulty due to the blockade.

The protestors said that Mochka Police Chowki near Hub River Bridge and Inland Customs officials have adopted a highly inappropriate attitude towards the oil tankers plying between Sindh and Balochistan as well as other transporters causing great difficulties for them. Due to their behavior, the oil tanker owners, drivers and transporters face daily problems.

The protestors appealed to the president of Pakistan, prime minster, the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the federal ombudsman, IG Police Sindh, DIG Police West Karachi and Pakistan Customs officials to take immediate notice of the behaviour of Mochka police and Customs officials with the Balochistan transporters. Otherwise, the protestors said they would block the Hub River road and bridge again.
