At least 10 culprits involved in selling dead chicken meat were arrested with a huge quantity of dead meat and three shops were sealed here on Wednesday.
Over public complaints, a team of district administration led by Assistant Commissioner (AC) launched a crackdown against dead meat sellers across Sargodha city. During operation, 10 culprits involved in selling and supplying dead chick meat were arrested and recovered 400 kilogram dead meat and sealed three shops.
The recovered dead meat was disposed off and the detainees were handed over to police which after registering a case against them have started investigation.
