Two kids among five killed in separate road mishaps

At least five people, including two children, were killed and 15 others wounded in separate road accidents in the metropolis on Monday.
In the first incident, two children from a family were killed and three others sustained injuries when a speeding car overturned near Super Highway late Sunday night. The rescue teams shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital.
Separately, a Hyderabad-bound car carrying five people turned turtle due to speeding near Nooriabad area of Karachi. As a result, two youngsters died on the spot while three others, a couple and their minor daughter, sustained wounds. The bodies and the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi.
Separately, a man died and two others were seriously injured in a collision between two vehicles in Landhi area.
In another accident, three women among seven people were wounded when a passenger van and a car collided near Super Highway toll plaza. The injured were shifted to a hospital where condition of three of them was stated to be critical. Police have registered cases and started investigations.
