A decision has been taken to pass those students who will be failed in one subject in the primary and middle standard examination held under the Punjab Examination Commission (PEC).
Paper-marking has started along with the introduction of the policy. The compensation for paper marking has also increased two fold. As many as five marking centres have been set up in the Rawalpindi city while separate marking centres have been established in all Tehsils of district Rawalpindi including Gujar Khan, Kahuta, Kallar Syedan, Kotli, Taxila and Murree.
The records will be sent to the PEC head office in Lahore after the checking was complete. Final results will be announced on March 31.
