Indefinite curfew imposed in Mohmand Agency

Authorities on Monday have imposed curfew to carry out search operation in Mohmand Agency, FATA, Pakistan.

According to local media, at around 2am on Monday morning, security forces ordered residents to stay home indefinitely via loudspeakers, before launching an operation against militants.

Meanwhile, troops have intensified patrolling across the agency.

The curfew will remain imposed from 7am to 7pm during which all education institutes and markets will remain closed.

On Thursday Taliban gunmen killed nine Khasadar force men in two separate attacks in Pandyali area and Michni area of the same region.
