At least four people were injured in explosion of gas cylinder during decanting of LPG here on Monday.
Rescue source said that during decanting of LPG in a shop situated in Nawab Chowk of Gujranwala, the gas cylinder went off with big bang.
Four people including shop keeper and a customer present at the scene were seriously injured in the explosion and were rushed to the local hospital for treatment.
It is worth mentioning here that the provincial government has declared decanting of LPG as illegal but the practice continues openly in markets and shops of small and big cities across the province.
