Two more people wounded in the February-10 Sheikhupura road mishap involving a collision between an LPG filled tanker and a car, succumbed to their injuries at Allied Hospital of Faisalabad on Saturday, taking the death toll to 20.
The deceased were identified as sub-inspector Sikandar Hayat and Kosar Perveen.
A tanker carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) had a collision with a car creating an inferno which engulfed the vehicle, two rickshaws carrying schoolchildren and nearby buildings near Sheikhupura’s Mananwala area. A case had been registered against the tanker’s driver and owner.
