Indian actress Sharmila Tagore on Sunday decided to extend her stay in Pakistan for a day after police stopped her at the Wagah border for incomplete travel documents.
The missing police report was provided through fax, but Sharmila decided to extend her stay in Lahore for one more day.
Tagore arrived in Lahore on Saturday to attend the Lahore Literary Festival (LLF) on an invitation by PM Nawaz. She participated in the Lahore Literary Festival. She also met with her relatives in Lahore.
She was delighted to witness Lahore and enjoyed her visit to the historic city of Pakistan. She expressed her delight at being in Lahore, saying she has found so much in common between India and Pakistan.
Sharmila Tagore is an Indian film actress known for her works predominantly in Hindi cinema. She has received two National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards for her performances.
