Broadcast journalist Reham Khan on Sunday signed up to be an organ donor at the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT).

She signed the form during her visit to the SIUT.

She also inquired about the welfare of the renowned social worker, Abdul Sattar Edhi.

Later, talking to reporters, Reham Khan said that people should sign up to be organ donors to help save the lives of those who need transplantation.

Saving the life of a patient tantamount to rehabilitation of the entire family and that was a ‘Sadqa-i-Jaria’, she added.

Reham Khan paid tribute to Abdul Sattar Edhi, who has dedicated this life to serve humanity, saying she would extend all possible support to him for his mission.

Replying to a question regarding the resignation of Director General of Ehtesab Commission Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Gen (retd) Hamid Khan, she said the top leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf had been saying that Hamid was a credible Mohtasib. It was incomprehensible that as to why he was now not being considered credible, she regretted.
