The Karachiities in different areas of the cities held 12 robbers and recovering arms and looted valuables from their possession on Sunday.
An accused identified as Shayan was held by citizens while snatching mobile in Defence area of the metropolis. He hailed from North Nazimabad and both of his parents are doctor by profession.
The citizens caught four armed robbers dressed in police uniforms when they attempted to commit robbery in a house near Islam Chowk in Orangi Town. They detainee was given sound thrash before they were handed over to police. Meanwhile, seven more robbers were detained by citizens during robbery attempts in different areas of the metropolis city including Lyari, North Nazimabad and Sohrab Goth. Arms and looted valuables were recovered from their possession.
The police after registering separate cases against the detainees at respective police stations started investigation.
