The custom officials arrested a foreigner who had swallowed capsules filled with heroin after screening at the Karachi Airport on Sunday.
The custom officials searched the luggage and conducted X-ray of the suspected Nigerian citizen who arrived at Quaid-e-Azam International Airport Karachi from Lagos via Dubai. The X-ray report confirmed presence of heroin capsules weighing about 1.470 kilogram in the stomach of the suspect. He was shifted to a hospital for recovering the drug.
