An additional district and sessions judge issued non-bailable warrants on Saturday for the arrest of former president retired Gen Pervez Musharraf.
The warrants were issued for his ‘deliberate’ absence from the proceedings of the case of the Lal Masjid cleric Abdul Rashid Ghazi.
The judge, Pervaizul Qadir Memon, stated that the conduct of the former President displayed that “he is bent upon not to appear before the trial court deliberately and intentionally to face the trial in person and is seeking justice while in his drawing room.”
Court should have to kick on his back and order the auhrority to produce him in next hearing.
