Team will not participate in WT20 without govt’s permission: Shahryar Khan

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Shahryar Khan on Saturday assured that the national team will not depart for India to participate in World Twenty20 without government’s permission.

While talking to media at Lahore literary festival, PCB chairman said that the country will face minor loss for not playing in WT20 but the ultimate decision will be taken by the government.

Shahryar Khan pledged to establish cricket academies in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Quetta and Azad Kashmir.

Responding to a question related to Pakistan Super League (PSL), Khan lauded the event and said that the step has encouraged young talent to play with legendry players.
