Muttahida Quami Movement leader Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hasan said on Friday that the Pakistan People’s Parties should also call an all parties conference (APC) on Karachi issues like the one it called on census issue.

Talking to media before Sindh Assembly session, Khawaja said that census should not be held under government pressure suggesting that an autonomous commission should be established for monitoring the census. Khawaja said the Sindh chief minister should also call APC on the issue of Thar, water shortage in Karachi and empowerment of local government.

  1. Mitha mitha hup – karwa karwa thoo. Demading APC on local government like issues is nothing more than a joke. Let the Bhook Hartaal finish and then put additional demands. An empty mind is a devil's shop – a proverb.
