Two robbers were killed during an alleged encounter with a police team in Kot Radha Kishan area on Thursday.
According to police officials, four dacoits were looting a resident namely Rafaqat near Changa Manga. After being informed, a police team chased the dacoits down. As the robbers did not stop, a shootout ensued in which two dacoits were killed, while their two accomplices managed to flee from the scene.
The dead dacoits were identified as Sajid alias Lala and Zubair alias Ikram. They were found involved in different cases of murder and attempt to murder.
