Two dacoits were killed and two others managed to escape during an alleged encounter with the police in Kot Radha Kishan area here on Thursday.
According to police sources, the dacoits were looting a resident Rafaqat near Changa Manga. After being informed, police chased the dacoits and tried to stop them. Two dacoits were killed during an exchange of fire with police while two their accomplice managed to flee from the scene
The killed dacoits were identified as Sajid alias Lala and Zubair alias Ikram. The dacoits were involved in different incidents of murder and attempt to murder.
