The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday accepted former interior minister Rehman Malik’s plea seeking extension in dual nationality case.

A three-member bench heard the case during which the plaintiff stated that he wants to put forward more names of the people possessing dual nationality.

The court expressed resentment over Mahmood Akhtar Naqvi’s stance and ordered to submit separate petition in this regard.

Meanwhile, Rehman Malik pleaded for time as his lawyer was not present in the hearing.

Subsequently, the case was adjourned for one month.
