Death toll of the LPG tanker-car collision in Sheikhupura reached 18 as another victim succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday at Faisalabad’s Allied Hospital a week after the accident.
The fatal road mishap occurred on February 10.
A tanker carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) rammed into a car and the gas leak fueled an inferno engulfing the vehicles, including two rickshaws with schoolchildren aboard, and nearby buildings near Sheikhupura’s Mananwala area. Some 12 persons were killed and many injured. Six injured have died since.
